Emberlyn Rae's TWO! | Social Circle, Ga

Social_Circle_Ga_Family_Photographers_Holly_L_Robbins_0091.jpg

This doll baby ran all over this yard! Did you notice how red her little cheeks are? Sweet baby, we had such a great time with her and her mommy, daddy and grandma. I photographed her mommy and daddy’s wedding several years ago and have kept in touch with her family. Let’s take a trip down memory lane!! You may remember seeing Emberlyn on the blog last year for her one year session (view it by clicking here) and her sweet newborn session (click here to see it). I just love that I get to do this for my job!

Emberlyn Rae most certainly ran the show during her session - as most two year olds do! She was talking to me so well and literally repeated everything I said. It was the sweetest thing! She loved giving me fist bumps and several times she raised her arms up to me and signaled, with her hands opening and closing, for me to pick her up. She is a sweet heart and it made me feel so loved that she was so comfortable with me.

Jade and Jamie, I am so proud of you guys! Emberlyn is such an incredible little girl and it’s because of you two! She is a ray of sunshine!

Lathaniel + Nora | Social Circle, Ga

Social_Circle_Ga_Family_Photographers_Holly_L_Robbins_0053-1.jpg

I sure have missed this family!! When they arrived at the park, I walked down to help Dallas get her babies out of the car. Lathaniel, just held my hand and we talked while we waited on his mommy to get Nora. Lathaniel is a sweetheart and I’m so grateful for the bonds that I get to have with my little clients.

It was such a hot day but I don’t believe it phased Lathaniel and Nora! I loved running around the park with them. . .Well, mostly Nora. She is so fast! :) Notice her feet in several of her photos! Her sweet little smile and that beautiful curve of her smiley eyes, totally stole me heart!

Lathaniel and Nora are both preemies. When they were born they each weighed over a pound. I know I share this with y’all just about every time I photograph these two but, I just can’t help it. Their story, the story God has written for them, is so incredible. All these beautiful souls, Dallas, Lathaniel and Nora, lived through a very difficult time. I’m sure so many people wonder, why does God allow things that hurt us to happen to us?

Your wounds are evidence of healing.

Not only are your wounds evidence of healing but God has a plan for them. He uses your wounds, the difficult things you’ve experienced, to minister to others HIs truth, His love, and the eternal life He has for us. God has a purpose for the story of your life and so much healing happens when these two collide! I know that this family’s story will help so many. God is so good in that regard.

Happy birthday Lathaniel and Nora!!!

HattieMae's One Year Milk Bath Session | Social Circle, Ga.

HattieMae-102.jpg

Hello Sunshine!! This is my AH-dorable GREAT niece, HattieMae! Yesterday, I got to photograph her one year session, on her actual birthday! She totally hammed-it-UP, too!! Those curls! Those rolls! That precious smile!!

She started off posing and as we started reacting with all of our oh’s and ahh’s, she then decided to take a phone call (with her “hand Phone”)! Right in the middle of her shoot! So sassy-adorable! HattieMae will keep a stern look on her face but when she smiles, it brightens up life! It’s seriously the best!

HattieMae, I’m so thankful that we got to celebrate your life yesterday! We sure do love you bunches and we’re so thankful for all the joy you bring us and our family.
Happy birthday doll baby!!

Downtown Monroe | Stubbs Family Session

Monroe_Ga_Family_Photographers_Holly_L_Robbins_0003.jpg

I love how colorful the Stubbs’ family session is! Oh, and their sweet son Foster!! Goodness, he is so adorable! I met Cody, the dad, at church one day. Our pastor had asked me to photograph baptism day and Cody was there to do the videography. He and I mapped out a plan so we wouldn’t get in each others shots. While we were chatting and getting to know one another, Cody mentioned that he wanted to start doing wedding videography. It was so awesome, because I had a wedding coming up and he was able to book my bride. We worked together at Starrsville Plantation and it went so great! We’ve worked together on other church projects since then.

He always talks about his sweet family, his son Foster and his wife Kaitlyn. I finally got to meet them both for their family session. Monroe has become their new hometown. They moved here a few months ago and it was so fitting to photograph their session here. It was an overcast day, but their smiles and the fun colors of Downtown brightened everything up!!

Also, another fun fact, Kaitlyn’s dad is Jeffery Foster. He was RyAnne’s soccer coach last year and is also running for Supreme Court Judge! During their session, Kaitlyn mentioned that her dad was the judge during the very last case at the old court house in Downtown Monroe. So cool! God sure has intertwined our paths!!

Thank you for letting me photograph your beautiful family, Cody and Kaitlyn!

The Boyd Family | Social Circle, Ga.

Sharing some joy and happiness this afternoon with my sweet friend’s family session! In a time that is weird, with this virus causing so much panic and uncertainty, it was so wonderful taking time out to laugh with Nathan, Katelyn, Sam and Ben! No hugs - which is sad but, just getting to be in their presence was so good for my soul! Katelyn and I usually see each other two or three times a week and spend several hours together working on Thrive, bible study and all things church. We both know we will get back to that life again soon! And we can’t wait!!

How cute are Sam and Ben?!?!? My goodness! These guys - I just love them! Rocco was so excited to see his friend, Ben, on my computer while I was editing their session. Rocco and Ben are Katelyn and my little sidekicks. When Katelyn and I are together the boys are too! Rocco misses you Ben!!

Also, I just want to add how proud I am of Nathan and Katelyn! Nathan is the pastor of our church. They are doing such a wonderful job uplifting our community and spreading so much positivity! If you ever need your spirits uplifted please go follow Church at the Grove and/or Thrive at the Grove on Facebook!
