Happy Halloweenie Birthday Carter!

Check out my little witch!  Isn't she AH-dorable?!?!?!
Today we went to my best friend's son's 6th birthday costume party.

For months RyAnne has been telling me, "Mommy, I wanna be the witch."  She wouldn't let me get a close up of her makeup but she was very excited about having it on.  :)

The cutest and best tasting cheese ball eva!

The bestest host and hostess!

AH!  I just love, love, love this girl to death!

I just love how my eye ball is half rolled back.  Looking legit!

My handsome nephew rocking his airsoft gear.

RyAnne wasn't really feeling pictures today.  But I made her pose with her daddy.  :)

AND the birthday boy, Carter "Batman" Fincher!!!  Bobbing for Krispy Kremes!

I can't stop laughing at this!!!!

Happy 6th Birthday Carter!!!

I haven't been to a Halloween Party in years.  This was the very best one!  Miriam and Bobby thank y'all so much for inviting us.  We will never forget it!

My little show stopper.

Last month, we all headed to the doctor's office for my twenty week ultrasound.  Our technician was awesome and gave us several printouts in 3D/4D.  Our little girl (Which, yes, I had her confirm she was still a GIRL! lol) was moving SO much. . .The coffee may have helped!
It was so incredible to see this little angel moving around and just being.  She yawned!  She stuck out her tongue!  And she loves keeping her hands up by her sweet little face.

This pregnancy is very different than with RyAnne.  Being a mommy and a business owner I sometimes forget I'm pregnant.  lol  At the end of the day when I lay down in bed and begin to relax she will start to kick me.  Like, "Hey mommy! Guess what?  I'm here!!!"  :)

After Trey and I decided on her name, I think that's when it really started to hit me that in just a short time (17 weeks!) I will be a mommy to two girls!!!  I can't wait!

Nicole + Travis, A downtown Rutledge Engagement Session

Nicole + Travis meet through mutual friends. Their first date was on their lunch break and involved El Charros mexican food. Yummy!

They were smitten with one another! They spoke everyday, every night. . .every waking hour they could possibly talk!

Last year, while on a family trip to Jamaica, on the day after Thanksgiving, Travis surprised his love with a proposal of marriage. The ocean tide rolling in, the sunset's beaming, romantic glow. . .How could anyone say no!?!?!

And yes, everyone, her entire family, knew what Travis was up to! They are the worst at keeping secrets. So, Nicole was completely shocked, surprised and extremely excited by his proposal!!!

Why I ask my clients to choose their locations + Baby Bumps!

IMG_1642-Version-21.jpg

Is that a strange blog post title???  lol

Last week I met Laura and Brad at his family's land in Monticello, Georgia.  When Laura and I first started talking about their maternity session she had no idea where she wanted their session to be.  I asked if there were any locations that might have meaning to them.  She then came back with a fantastic location!

Cute baby Austin!

Baby Austin will make his appearance this September.

How awesome is the log cabin in the background?!  Brad's grandmother and grandfather found this cabin and transported it (in pieces) to their land.  They put it back together.

Laura you are glowing girlfriend!

Most often this is what I hear from my clients.  "You're the professional.  I'm sure you have some amazing locations that you can recommend."  I do know of some but I've already photographed at them.  :/  I don't think it does my clients any justice if I choose where there memories are to be made.

I believe the reason my sessions turn out the way they do (I think they are kinda awesome!) is because my clients choose their own, meaningful locations.  Plus I'm like a kid in a candy shop!!!  It's an experience for me too!  I love going to new, unchartered locations.  Gives my eyes something new and fresh to pose my clients around and adds to the uniqueness of their session.

I believe that's why my clients choose me and why I want to work with them.  We both want to create unique, gorgeous, one of a kind moments they will enjoy for years to come.

Congratulations Laura and Brad!  I can't wait to meet your sweet baby boy!

Happy Monday!
Love.
H.
