Blue Willow Inn Wedding | Shannon + James

Shannon met James about 8 years ago while at work at The Blue Willow Inn. For the five years that James and Shannon worked together he was really quiet and didn't say but a few words to her. In 2012 Shannon moved away to Indiana. Two years later she found her way back to Georgia. 

While getting settled back in to Georgia she found James' profile on facebook and sent him a friend request. They started talking on facebook and a few days later went on their very first date. Their relationship continued to grow from there. 

The employees at Blue Willow Inn said they have never seen James look so happy. On February 20th, 2015 James got up the courage to ask Shannon to marry him and of course she said YES! 

They started planning the wedding and were going to get married on the beach. However they wanted their friends, family and coworkers who have known them for years to be a part of their wedding day too. That's how they decided to have their beautiful wedding at the place where they actually met, at the Blue Willow Inn.

Kara + Nick's Callanwolde Fine Arts Center Wedding

Kara started planning her wedding day shortly after her engagement to Nick.  She honed her uber teacher-organization skills and created an amazing team of wedding professionals - that I loved working with! <3.

We arrived at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center on Saturday, July 25th.  It was a rather warm summer day filled with excitement, love and lots of pretty things!

Little Brothers | Bostwick, Georgia

I met these little guy's parent's almost five years ago.  I photographed their engagement session. <3.  When Jennifer, their mother, contacted me about photographing her babies I was very thrilled!

I met with the Franklin family in Bostwick, Georgia. It’s a cute t-tiny little town with loads of history just sitting around. It’s mostly known for the Cotton Ginn Festival that happens in the fall.

The boys loved it here. They enjoyed exploring and running around. Which made for the best candid shots you could hope for. :)

Madilyn's Newborn Session | Covington, Georgia Newborn Photographers

What a beautiful little girl!  I had a wonderful time photographing Miss Madilyn and her big sister Morgan.  Madilyn was born on July 3, 2015 at 8:15 in the morning. She weighs a sweet 7 pounds and 10 ounces and is 19 1/4 inches long.

I'm so happy with this super sweet little wooden bed and floral swag that I added.  Reminds me of a little fairy taking a nap. ;)

Morgan is such a great big sister. She was so helpful and loving towards Madilyn.

We ended the session with a photo of Morgan.  Her and her baby sister were perfect little models.

Kelsie + Eugene's Lanett, Alabama Wedding

On the warm summer day of June 20th, 2015, we traveled to Lanett, Alabama to photograph my sweet husband's cousin's wedding day.  It was such an honor to be asked to photograph Kelsie and Eugene's big day.  I loved seeing Kelsie surrounded by our family and friends marrying the man of her dreams!
