Jessica + Alex | Yuletide Christmas Tree Farm Engagement Session

Just before the Thanksgiving holiday, I met with Jessica + Alex at Yuletide Christmas Tree farm for their engagement session. These two are SO much fun! Their laughter and love warmed my heart on this very cold day.

Jessica + Alex meet over six years ago. Jessica's sister and a good friend asked her if she would be up for a blind date. She wasn't interested in any surprises after a few bad dates, so she opted out. However, they still passed on her name to Alex. This lead to him "friending" her on Facebook and lots of long conversations via social media and then phone calls.

After months of only hearing each other's voices over the phone, it was winter when they met for the first time at a local park during a beautiful Georgia snow. Jessica + Alex had an epic snowball fight, where Jessica couldn't get her snowballs to stick together so Alex came over to help her. They were laughing and enjoying their time together. Jessica began admiring Alex while he was laughing and she realized in that moment just how smitten she was. She knew that Alex would become a significant role in her life.

Jessica + Alex, I can't wait for your May 2016 wedding day!

Epworth by the Sea, Saint Simons Island, Georgia | Lauren + Ronald

Lauren + Ronald are such a classic couple. Their decor was simple yet elegant with the backdrop of the sea and surrounded by large live oak trees that were covered in Spanish moss.  They chose a destination wedding at Epworth by the Sea located in Saint Simons Island, Georgia.

Lauren had straps added to her beautiful lace dress.

Lauren's bouquet was the perfect soft peachy pink.

Loooove! When Lauren stood under these trees and I turned around with my camera in hand, I had to take a moment to take it all in. It was breath taking!

Ronald looked so handsome in his sleek black suite and tie.

I just loved Lauren's reaction when I told her parents to both kiss her on the cheek. lol

Congratulations Lauren + Ronald! Your Saint Simons Island wedding was so beautiful. Thank you for allowing Miriam + I to be a part of it all!

Rutledge, Ga Senior Session | Sydney Carter c/o 2016

I photographed Sydney and her family over four years ago.  She was such a cute girl back then! And now a beautiful young lady. I had so much fun getting to know her all over again. Her smile and giggles are contagious! We found many gorgeous backdrops in the sweet little town of Rutledge. Sydney is involved in Theater at Salem High School and plays the piano.

Starrsville Plantation Maternity Session | Kelly + Will

I'm so excited for this couple! I have photographed the joy of their engagement (click here to see it), their beautiful wedding day (click here to remember this moment) and last week their maternity session. It's a joy to see this couple grow! Kelly and Will are going to be welcoming their sweet baby boy, McCoy, in October 2015.

The gorgeous backdrop of Starrsville Plantation is also where they said their vows in the Fall of 2013.  Congratulations Kelly + Will! <3.
