Winn + David | Burge Plantation, Mansfield, Ga Wedding

Pumpkins, puppies and LOTS of happiness! What a day it was for Winn + David! When we first arrived at Burge Plantation we were greeted with beautiful pumpkins - EVERY WHERE! It was so gorgeous and festive! Winn's dad grew them at their family farm in Culloden, Ga. where Winn grew up. As we made our way into the main house I could hear Winn's infectious laugh and that lead me straight to our gorgeous bride. Winn's dress is one of a kind! She designed her beautiful gown and it looked so grand on her. Her cathedral length veil + blue heals finished her look perfectly. I remember when it was time for David + Winn's first look, seeing her walking to him down the back staircase into his arms as the wind gentle blew her veil around them. I pretty much lost it with the tears. It was so beautiful!

During their ceremony, their sweet pups, Riley + Gunny made their way down the isle greeting guests with sniffs. Winn's laugh was in the air and the two became husband and wife. As they walked up the isle their guests cheered and threw bird seed in celebration!

Winn drifted across the dance floor during her and David's romantic first dance. When it came to her and her daddy's first dance, they got a little funky with it! So funky that Winn ended up on the floor! Thankfully it was a gentle fall and her daddy was right their to pick her back up and hug her.

Their reception was full of celebration with dancing and an awesome band that kept the crowd going all night long. I couldn't help but dance a little while photographing! Congratulations Winn + David!!!

Kaylee + Will | Athens, Ga Farm Engagement Session

I am so excited to share this engagement session with y'all! I met these two, Kaylee + Will, at her best friend's, Maggie + Chris', wedding I was photographing in August. I remember specifically seeing Kaylee + Will dancing to a slow song and photographing them. I could see how in love they were through my lens. She contacted me shortly after her friend Maggie's wedding and asked me if I would be her engagement and wedding photographer. . .of course I said YES! :) And boy, oh, boy did we have the best time chasing the sunlight at this gorgeous equestrian farm in Athens, Ga.! Kaylee + Will met by chance! Kaylee was out on the town celebrating her friend's bachelorette party. It was at the end of the night and they were in a cab headed back home, when one of her girlfriends asked if they could make one more stop. Kaylee was reluctant, as she was past ready to be home after a full night. However, she gave in and they stopped off at another bar, Lost Dog, to see her friend's finance. Kaylee made her way up to the bar and immediately noticed a very handsome guy with great hair to her left. They made eye contact several times and finally after a few minutes of awkward silent glances and sips of their drinks, she  broke the ice and said, "Hello!"

The two became lost in conversation and completely lost track of time. So lost, that Kaylee had forgotten about her friends! After a while her friends appeared and told her it was time to head home. Although she was the one that didn't want to go to the bar in the first place, she was now the one that didn't want to leave! She wanted to stay as long as possible and talk to the cute, interesting guy with the great hair. Before she made her way towards the exit, Will asked her to put her number in his phone. In the cab on the way home, Kaylee heard her phone sound and it was a text message from Will. She got butterflies and hoped she would get to see him again!

After making plans with Kaylee and breaking them THREE times over the next couple of weeks, Will FINALLY asked her to meet with him at the dog park with their dogs for their first date.

Kaylee and Will have been dating now for almost a year and a half. While on a trip to Sedona, Arizona (with another couple who just happens to be a professional photographer) Will and their friends coordinated a photo shoot for the two of them at sunset by the gorgeous red rocks on Devil's Bridge. There, on the stunning peak, Will dropped to one knee and gave Kaylee the surprise of a lifetime and proposed to her. How romantic is that?!?! Congratulations Kaylee + Will!

Moon Family | Bostwick, Ga Cotton Field Session

Wow-O-Wow! I have a super pretty family session for you guys! The Moon family met me in this stunning cotton field just off the side of the road in Bostwick, Georgia. Jess and Ryan's two little ones, Coban Rose and Hollan, modeled so good for me! P.S. I did throw in a "blooper" from their session! See if you can spot it.

Lathaniel + Dallas | Social Circle, Ga Mommy + Me Session

Check out this sweet little guy! His expressions are just adorable! You may remember seeing his cuteness almost three months ago when I photographed his newborn session (view his newborn session). Lathaniel was born pre-mature. He is almost six months old and is thriving! Dallas, his beautiful momma, is so proud of him.

Santa Rosa Island, Pensacola Beach Florida Family Vacation

Last week we took off to Santa Rosa Island located in Pensacola, FL for our last beach vacation of the year <— that makes me so sad! I live (and work really hard) for beach trips! It’s where I feel relaxed. My mind is (ALMOST) completely off work and focused on my sweet family. I am able to free my mind, let my worries fade away. I always feel better! The sun, sand and waves just have a way with me. The water was beautiful and seemed unaffected by Hurricane Matthew. We had blue skies and lots of sun every single day. And every single day, we hung out at the beach until the sun went down. It was glorious! One evening we visited Fort Pickens, which is surrounded by white powdery sand and ocean, and we watched the sun set. The orange hues mixed with the blue skies were stunning. Like, give you cold chills and have you thanking God for sunsets, beautiful!!!
