RyAnne's 7th Birthday Party

Yesterday we celebrated our sweet girl's SEVENTH birthday with our friends and family. Holy moly. . .SEVEN! Still can't believe it. I asked her what kind of party she wanted and she said, "TROLLS!" Trolls it was! We scheduled her party and sent out invitations for last Sunday. Well, the forecast said 100% chance of rain that day and we ended up having to reschedule her party for the following Sunday. Thankfully most her friends and family were able to make it. The weather was perfect this Sunday! Yay! Well, almost perfect. The wind was a little fierce at first. Trey and I created this super cute and very colorful balloon backdrop to go behind the food table. However, the wind caught it and knocked it over TOWARDS the food and cake. So, we had to take it down. :(

I had my friend Karen, of Karen's Sweet Confections in Monroe, Ga, do RyAnne's Troll cake. It's SO cute. I added the little Trolls and mushrooms. I thought it would be fun for her to get to keep them and use them in her fairy garden. ;) For the goodies I made, Fruity Pebble marshmallow treats and white chocolate cover strawberries with sprinkles.

Our party favors consisted of Troll hair bands and Play Doh Troll kits. Who doesn't LOVE Play Doh!

Look at all these cuties! RyAnne wanted to play some games at her party. I found a couple of Minute to Win it games that I THOUGHT would be a good idea. lol This is the Fruit by the Foot game. The object was to see who could eat the most without using their hands. lol Well, I forgot to mention they couldn't touch it. . .so they all ended up cramming the ENTIRE Fruit Roll Up in their mouths. Eww. This is when I realized just how bad of an idea this game was. lol Everyone's faces! I was scared to death they were gonna choke. Everyone was safe! The next game was called Cookie Face. The object of this game is to place a cookie on your cheek and without touching the cookie move it to your mouth. It was SO funny to watch them. I tried to show them how to move their faces to make the cookie slide down to their mouth. hahaha! They gave me the oddest looks. They all decided to just try and use their tongues instead. Once we finished up with ALL that sugar. . .why not eat cake! Haha! I know y'all have heard about the Color Run 5K. Trey and I found the packets of chalk they use during that event and let the kids go crazy with it in the yard! I hope everyone had a fabulous day with us! We sure did!

Once everyone left the party, we ate dinner - REAL FOOD that didn't have sugar in it. lol After dinner, RyAnne got all her gifts out and started singing a song she made up, "This is the best day of my liiiiiiife!" Thank you to everyone that came to her party and made her feel so very special!

Eight Months and counting! | Pensacola Beach, Fl Maternity Session

This week I am in my EIGHTH month! It totally doesn't seem like I should be this far along and I am SO very thankful that I don't feel eight months pregnant! Woohoo! A couple of weeks ago, during RyAnne's spring break, we took a trip to Pensacola Beach, Florida. We had such a wonderful time with our girls! The weather was incredible! It was sunshine and sand all but one day. And that one day it rained we headed to the outlets for some shopping. So, it wasn't a wasted day at all! Pensacola Beach is GORGEOUS! This was our second time visiting. The sand is so pure and the water is a stunning shade of emerald. It's always so hard for us to leave.

Olivia kept busting out cute little poses and had me cracking up. lol

I love how excited they are about their baby brother, Rocco. RyAnne insisted that her and Olivia needed to kiss my belly.

When Olivia saw my purple gown, she said, "Oh momma, you look like Elsa!" How cute is that?!

RyAnne was in charge of the camera for the last part of our session. She would tell Trey and I how to pose and what to do next. She specifically told her daddy to kiss my belly. I love her SO much!!!

And what is a Robbins' photoshoot without a couple of outtakes?! Haha!

Jessica + Chris | Starrsville Plantation, Covington, Ga Wedding

About a year ago, during our first wedding consult, I met Jessica and her now sister-in-law, Toya. The two engaged ladies were both in full swing of planning their weddings. I photographed Jessica's brother, Morgan and Toya's wedding just last year. It has been so fun working with their family and I was thrilled to get to work with them again just last weekend during Jessica and Chris' gorgeous Starrsville Plantation wedding! Their family is so close! I love this about them. I love that when Jessica and her dad had their "first look" his smile was from ear to ear the entire time! I love that when Jessica walked down the isle, Chris about lost it! I love that Jessica's parents always ask me to take a photograph of them - they are the sweetest couple and I am sure the most incredible role models for their children to look up to.

Jessica's father's speech was too sweet and it brought me to tears too! He talked about how when Jessica was a little girl she would play kitchen under the dogwood tree in their back yard and her mom would watch her from their kitchen window. One day Jessica's mom, Mrs. Cindy, was out by that dogwood gardening and she found one of Jessica's little kitchen pots. I am sure this flooded her mind with memories of when her daughter was just a little one. Her dad also mentioned that when Jessica was little she gave him some cute little coupons for things like a back scratching, foot rub and one for "no more complaining". Ha! Apparently he had redeemed them all but the "no more complaining" coupon. During his speech, her dad pulls out the "no more complaining" coupon and hands it over to Chris! So cute!

Lauren + Matt | Lake Oconee, Georiga Wedding

I totally started freaking out about a week before Lauren + Matt's wedding day. . .The rain! Oh my, there was a high, high chance of rain scheduled on the day of their outdoor wedding. When we arrived at De Casa Banana II, a beautiful home located on Lake Oconee,  it was all sunshine. . .and smoke! lol The fire department was called and the flames from the yard down the road were extinguished before the smoke effected any of the events of their beautiful day! For Lauren's decor, she incorporated subtle hints from the movie, Beauty and the Beast. Lauren is a huge Disney fan and it was the perfect touch!

The Robbins' Take Pensacola Beach, FL.!

I gave my bladder a little pep talk before we started the 6 hour drive to Pensacola Beach, Florida. . ."You got this. Hang in there girl!" We arrived, with minimal restroom breaks, to sunshine, white sand and emerald green water. Oh my!!! It's the best site evah! Like instant stress relief. Olivia has been asking every single day, "We go to the beach today?" While RyAnne has been counting down the days leading up to our trip. Friday, we made it there! Woohoo! Once we got settled into our condo, we walked down the beach (I waddled my way) to one of our fave restaurants, Crabs. It's located on the beach and always has the best view of that stunning ocean. Plus, the food is SO good! RyAnne and I cracked through several clusters of crabs and they were like melt in your mouth yeah good!

That's supposed to be a ship in my hand. lol We saw so many colorful sail boats.

And then, BAM! Storm watch 20-17! Thankfully for us it was just bad wind and dark skies. It was so fun watching from the safety of our condo!

The wind and waves were very intense. The wind would knock off the tops of the waves.

The very next day we were blessed with more sunshine AND Olivia making another stink face. lol

Last year, in October, I took a photo with the girls under this same pier. At that time, I didn't know it, but I was pregnant with Rocco. Here we ALL are seven months later!

While we were at the beach, I planned a little maternity photo shoot. Originally I had a Pensacola Beach photographer lined up. However, it rained on the day she was available. So, we improvised!
